Welcome to the GBRCTA Website!

Welcome to the new and improved Greater Baton Rouge Community Tennis Association (GBRCTA) website. Since 1998 the GBRCTA has provided everything tennis in the Baton Rouge area. Going forward, we want to make sure you know who we are and why we are here.

The mission of the GBRCTA is “to create interest in and facilitate involvement of the local community in the participation of the Baton Rouge Community Tennis Association and area league play for adults and youths.” This mission is achieved through USTA league play, City Championship league, Junior programming, Community Cup Tournaments, partnerships with professional events, partnerships with BREC and local clubs, and generally creating what we humbly think is the Best Tennis Town in America!

The GBRCTA is an official USTA Community Tennis Association. Our board of directors currently consists of 11 volunteers who want to play and promote tennis. Everyone who plays league tennis or participates in a GBRCTA event is a member of the GBRCTA. Currently we have over 2,800 adult members and over 600 junior members. We are the largest Community Tennis Association in the state! Your continued play and support enables the GBRCTA to provide programming for area youth, scholarships to the disadvantaged, and continuously send area teams to state, sectional and national USTA tournaments.

GIVE US YOUR INPUT! What do you want to see in Baton Rouge? How can the GBRCTA help your team or program? Let us help you launch that tennis idea you have! Please explore our new website and come to the realization yourself that the GBRCTA is here for EVERYTHING TENNIS IN BATON ROUGE!
