USTA League is organized, competitive team play for women and men of all abilities and experience. Teams and matches are set up according to NTRP ratings, so your teammates and opponents will be at your skill level. The competition is exciting, but the atmosphere is social.

Registration

Team Name regulation: USTA Louisiana regulation regarding team names. Teams must adhere to the following below.
Team Name Format:

Captain Last Name/Age Group/Level/League/Tennis Facility(Max 4 letters)

Example: Smith/55/3.5/WD/ST

Please note

All teams playing out of a BREC facility will be listed as BREC, not individual BREC facility.
The LSU Tennis Complex is available for home courts (first-come, first-serve). LSU facility members will have priority over non-members.
- Five court matches would be $100 (outdoor courts). No 5 court matches indoors in 2024.
- Four court matches would be $80 (outdoor courts) and $120 (indoor courts)
- Three court matches would be $60 (outdoor courts) and $90 (indoor courts)

2024 USTA League Tennis registration will be conducted online using TennisLink. For additional information on how to use TennisLink click here.

Each team must have the minimum of players register on TennisLink by the end date of team registration for the team to be included in the draw.

18 & Over - Minimum 8 players for most levels
- except 2.5 and 5.0 which has a minimum of 5 players
40 & Over - Minimum 9 players for all levels
55 & Over - Minimum 6 players for all levels

Participation requirements at time of enrollment include:

Proof of membership in the USTA through end of local league season.
A valid NTRP rating level in TennisLink
need to self rate- "Self Rating" Link for information on the self-rating process.

Match Format for Leagues

18 & Over - Men and Women Night

3.0. 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 levels: 2 singles; 3 doubles

2.5 and 5.0 levels : 1 singles; 2 doubles

18 & Over - Women Day

3.0. 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 levels: 1 singles; 4 doubles

2.5 and 5.0 levels : 1 singles; 2 doubles

40 & Over - Men and Women Day

3.0. 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 levels: 1 singles; 3 doubles

40 & Over - Women Night

3.0. 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 levels: 3 doubles (no singles)

55 & Over - Men and Women

3.0. 3.5, 4.0 and 9.0 combined level: 3 doubles

All matches are best of two tie-break sets with a match tie-break in lieu of a 3rd set.
