Strings of Love
06.15.09 | Whitney Vann, WAFB's 2une In host, has begun a project, "Strings of Love" for tennis players to donate their gently used racquets at area tennis facilities. Adult and junior racquets donated will be given out to tennis players participating in inner-city programs. You can donate your used racquets at BREC tennis centers, YMCA Lamar Tennis Center, and Bocage Racquet Club. There may be other private tennis clubs participating in "Strings of Love," you should ask if they accept racquet donations.
