Team/Player Registration:
Captains: Highlight and print instructions; click on
the TennisLink icon; sign in with your USTA number; Register!
Players: Highlight and print instructions; click on the
TennisLink icon; sign in with your USTA number; Register!
A minimum of 8 (5 at the 2.5 level) players must
register as members of a team before the team can be included in the draw.
This minimum # of players must be registered on TennisLink by 12/28/2007
for the 2008 Spring Adult League season.
Participation requirements at time of
enrollment include:
Proof of membership in the USTA through May
31, 2008
Birthdate on or before
12/31/1989
A current NTRP rating. A current NTRP rating
for players who are less than 60 years of age through the Championship
year is
either a 2005, 2006, or 2007 computer rating, whichever is
most recent. A current NTRP rating for players who are 60 years
of age prior to or during the Championship year is either a 2006 or
2007 computer rating, whichever is more recent. Players must declare their
self-rating at the time of registration with TennisLink.
Please encourage your players to join or
renew their USTA membership as soon as possible. Join on-line through TennisLink.
Renewals and memberships processed on line are effective immediately.
Create/Register a
Team
- Select 'Create a Team On-Line
- Select Section (USTA Southern)
- Select District (Louisiana)
- Select Area (Baton Rouge)
- Select League (example: 2008 USTA Adult....)
- Select Flight (level)
- Enter Home Court (facility: choose Independent if not
available)
- Include the following information in Team Name field:
- Home Court
- Captain's last name
- Team name for schedule
- example: Forest Park-Jones-Volley Girls
- click 'create team'
- Enter Phone Number
- Now complete your individual registration.
- You are registered when you see 'Congratulations' on the screen!
- Print a copy of your confirmation with team number to give to your
players.
- 8 (5 at the 2.5 level) players minimum required to include a team in
the draw
Register Player(s)
- You will need the following:
- Team number - from team captain!
- Player's USTA membership number
- Self-rating if player does not have either a
2005, 2006 or 2007 computer
rating (under age 60); or, 2006 or 2007 computer rating (age 60
and over)
- Player's telephone number
- Credit card number/expiration date
Score Entry
- A member of either team must record match scores in TennisLink within
48 hours of the completed team match. A member of the second team may verify/dispute
scores. TennisLink will automatically confirm scores 48 hours after the team match
is initially reported in TennisLink. All courts must be entered at the same time.
- Entering Scores:
- Click 'Record a Score' navigation button on
right of screen
- Enter match number from schedule
- Select players in each position
- Enter scores; click 'submit'. If accurate click 'Finish'
- Verifying Scores:
- Enter match number from schedule
- Review scores
- Click 'confirm' if accurate
- Click 'dispute' if not accurate; then contact your coordinator
Review Results
and Standings
- Select 'Stats & Standings'
- Search by USTA number, Team number, Match number or by choosing USTA
Section, State, Area, League, Level, Team or by Player Name.
